Animal ID: Foster HomeBrandi (female)
This is Brandi!! A GORGEOUS and petite Blue Russian mix. She is very sweet and calm. She is approximately 4 years old and has been raised by a sweet single mother and her small children. She has been living in my home for a few months now and has done very well will my older daughter as well as our cat and 2 dogs. She is a pretty versatile little girl, that's for sure. She can be a bit timid at first around the dogs but she is out and about like this is her home so I know she will adjust to any and every environment. :-) She LOVES kids, especially little ones, and will cuddle with anyone who sits down long enough to give her some love. She loves to be loved without being demanding. She doesn't get all the time and attention she needs in her current foster home due to a tiny space with 4 other animals but she remains so incredibly sweet and awaiting her new family with a hopeful and loving heart. You have to come meet this precious little girl for yourself!! Contact foster Mom Colleen at firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

7-year-old Russian Blue with a great temperament. Had him since he was about 2 months. My new living situation makes it impossible to keep him. I would prefer he was adopted with his best friend, the orange Tabby pictured, they get along great.

Animal ID: B141031-CO1Azula (female)
Azula is a stunningly beautiful and sweet, perky Russian Blue mix. She has big, round green eyes and a sleek, plush-like-mink coat; she is about 4 years old. Like most Russian Blue mixes, she was a little shy when she first arrived in her foster home. Because she was trying to wean her litter of kittens, she just 'stayed out of the line of fire' of her kittens and her foster mom for awhile. Once the kittens were adopted, Azula blossomed rapidly. She wanted to explore outside the foster cat room, but then she hid under the bed in the adjoining bedroom. Once she got her bearings and got acquainted with her foster mom's other cats, she now scampers around the house and contentedly plays with toys. In fact, she scampers so fast that she often leaves small area rugs askew because she has used them to make a sharp turn. Now that she feels comfortable in her new home, she has become much more interested in her foster mom as the source of yummy canned and dry food. So she now initiates coming to her foster mom by wrapping her sweet little body around mom's legs or by jumping on the desk while her foster mom is working. She even seems to enjoy being picked up because she purrs up a storm! She may never be what one would call a lap cat or sociable with strangers, but she is endearing to her foster mom and fun to watch as she discovers for the first time that life can be a lot of fun. Poor Azula showed up as a stray at a kind lady's house in November 2013. The lady fed her, and not surprisingly, Azula presented her with her first litter of kittens in April 2014. Strict instructions were given not to let Azula get outside, but, alas, she escaped while she was still nursing, and Azula had a second litter of kittens in August. She and the kittens arrived at their new Buster's Friends' foster home on Halloween Day, and Azula and her kittens were soon all spayed and neutered. What a relief for Azula! And she has decided that she likes staying inside out of the rain and cold as well as away from cars and caterwauling tomcats. Azula needs an experienced adopter who will be patient with her as she adjusts to her new home, which will need to be calm and consistent. Her foster mom learned to let Azula come to her on Azula's own terms, and her foster mom is delighted with Azula's progress. Learn more about Russian Blues by watching the YouTube video that appeared on Animal Planet Cats 101 segment. Google 'Cats 101 Russian Blue.' Azula is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/ FIV negative, dewormed, free of fleas, and ready for her indoor only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. No adoptions outside metro Houston. Please email if you are interested in her, and her foster mom can bring her to one of the PetSmarts in partnership with Buster's Friends. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-04-24-00282Zane (male)
Hello, My name is Zane and I was born in April 2011. I am about 4 years old. I am a bit sad because my human mom had to move to another state to stay with family. They are allergic to me. So, I have to find a new home! I think she is just as sad as I am. I will do just fine with finding a new home if you will give me a few days to settle in. I was with her and small doggies my whole life so I will need you to let me love you when I am ready. After that, you better get ready to have a super sweet boy. I will be at Petsmart-Southlake during our weekend adoption events from 11-4. I will be on the look out for my new PURR-ENT. You can be it! Just stop by or email my foster mom at: firstname.lastname@example.org Want to see more photos of me?? |Rescue Me ID: 14-09-09-00678Rob Katdashian (male)|
This guy was found dumped in a park with his mom and siblings. His mom has always been very healthy and doting to her kittens. Rob has been in rehab in our foster home and is thriving. He will be fixed 9/13/2014 and then ready for adoption. He is special needs because he has had eye issues in the past. One eye is cloudy but he seems to see great! He is very big on exploring and would love to get a great forever home.

Animal ID: San Antonio Area Adoptions OnlyCatherine (female)
This beautiful Russian Blue mix would love a calm and quiet forever home! She was diagnosed with stress induced alopecia, which means that she loses hair when she becomes overly stressed. Catherine may thrive in an environment where she is the only cat, or one of just a few cats. Catherine's adoption fee of $75 includes spay, vaccines, deworming, and testing for FELV/FIV.
